Personal Living Systems

There's no place like home. We all hope that our home will be a place where we can live safe and secure forever.

Remaining safe and secure at home when health care conditions change is a challenge to everyone who has experienced this difficulty. Working with unique combination's of health care resources, the staff at Personal Living Systems are dedicated to ensuring that you remain safe and well cared for at home.

Non-medical home maker and attendant services provides help with wide variety of daily activities that have become too difficult for an individual to manage on their own and offers these services in an individual's private home. This can be due to an injury, illness, progressive disease or just the result of natural aging. Tasks can be as simple as basic house keeping to more personal services such as assisting with dressing or bathing. Caring, supportive staff bring the assistance and services to the home for a personal experience that is individualized and based on specific needs.

Staff Qualifications

Personal Living Systems is bonded, insured and screens each employee through the NM State Department of Health Criminal background check system to ensure that each employee is qualified to work in health care. All employees are CPR/first aid trained and receive 12 hours each year of additional training in health care issues related to aging and disabilities. Employees providing transportation must complete a State approved transportation program, have a valid drivers license, clean Department of Motor Vehicle record and adequate insurance. Personal Living Systems is committed to ensuring that employees are well trained in all aspects of basic homemaker and attendant services and offer advance training if needed for specific issues.

Home Maker Services

Basic house cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, shopping, organization of tasks, transportation, companionship and monitoring for safety can be accessed through our home maker services on an hourly basis. An assessment is completed by our staff to determine if this program is appropriate and to determine the number of hours an individual may need. Monthly visits are conducted by our care coordinator to provide supervision of staff and continual assessment of an individual's needs. The care coordinator also acts as the consumer's resource for other community support systems.
