MISSION STATEMENT

SC, Inc. is a New Mexico non-profit corporation committed to providing affordable, sustainable, assisted living programs and housing options to elderly and disabled.  Assisted living is a special combination of housing, personalized supportive services and health care designed to respond to the individual needs of those who need help in activities of daily living, but do not need the skilled medical care provided in a nursing home.  Assisted living care promotes maximum independence and dignity for each resident and encourages the involvement of the resident’s family, neighbors and friends.  Assisted living programs often rely on a unique combination of financial resources to pay for such services, including federal and state Medicaid dollars.  

SC, Inc. is committed to assisting with funding and construction of affordable housing options for elders and disabled in areas that need resources for such projects.  

SC, Inc. is committed to the education of consumers and information sharing of assisted living resources to the public through a variety of outreach and training mechanism.  

SC, Inc. is committed to the unique opportunity of providing innovative training programs to staff and participating in the research and development of programs that provide a better understanding of the aging process.
